Nestled in the heart of Belleville’s Old East Hill, the QTC has provided players of all ages and abilities a place to enjoy tennis on clay courts since 1949.

Paid Positions are now available
Quinte Tennis Club is looking to fill 3 paid positions for the upcoming 2023 season.
Available positions are described below. Remuneration to be discussed.
POSITION #1
- morning opening of the club
- hours 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM - this is weather dependent
- 7 days per week if possible
Duties & Responsibilities
- determine playability of the courts
- email the Communications Director by 7:15 AM each morning with court condition
- operating a walk from behind roller to collect small amounts of water as required
- clean off any debris from the courts
- clean the lines if required
- Friday AM take out recycling bins and garbage to the curbside
- 1x per week, cut grass around outside perimeter of fence and small area adjacent to practice court
POSITION #2
- evening courts grooming and clubhouse lockup
- hours 9:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- 7 days per week if possible
Duties & Responsibilities
- remove and debris from the courts
- groom all 4 courts each evening
- ensure all gates and utility sheds are secure
- sweep off main deck
- fill washroom consumables each evening as required
POSITION #3
- clubhouse maintenance
- hours flexible - 4 hours per week
- clean clubhouse 2x/week

NEW WET COURT PROTOCOL: we have had some recent issues with damage caused by playing on courts that were too wet. When wet conditions merit, the gate will be double locked and the club inaccessible. Monitor local weather conditions and plan accordingly.
